2012.
Happy New Year! It's a new year and despite all those 'end of the world' prophecies, I still want to think POSITIVE. Anyways, every new year, I always come up with my own list of resolutions. Although I end up not fulfilling my resolutions, I still make a list every year. And of course this year I have a few resolutions that I REALLY want to achieve.
1. SAVE! Aside from the monthly bills that I have to pay, I'm planning of saving for grad school and this month would be a great start.
2. LIVE HEALTHY. I still am on my way of gaining five more pounds for me to reach my ideal weight.
3. PRAY EVERYDAY. This would be a good way to start the morning and end my day. :)
4. BE RESPONSIBLE. Both in terms of time and finances.
5. BE HAPPY. Less grumpy. :)
6. GIVE LOVE. Show the people how much I love them especially my family. :)
7. HAVE FAITH.
I just do hope that I will be able to achieve my resolutions this year in the hope of becoming a better person. We'll see. :)

Christmas 2011
Every year, my high school classmates always see to it that we have a simple get together every December. And so this year wasn't an exception. This was originally a reunion for our elementary class but our other high school classmates came - which made the night more fun.

Sendong.
Tropical Storm Sendong (Dec. 17) left a lot of people in Iligan and Cagayan de Oro City homeless, and sad to say, a lot lost their families as well. It was heartbreaking to see what happened to two cities close to my heart and who have been my second home. It's more saddening to know that some of my friends were greatly affected by the storm and the flood.
Though it's such a relief to know they are okay, it's still depressing to see videos and photos of grieving families over the news and the internet. Though for some, this wouldn't be a merry Christmas, still for us fortunate ones, there's so much to be thankful for, and that is the gift of life.
May this tragedy make us reflect on how we are living our lives. May this tragedy strengthen our faith to God above and not be a reason for us to hate or to blame. This too shall pass.
Please continue praying...
